Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away, when Amazon only sold books, someone had a vision of an online marketplace where consumers could purchase products across many categories and order them directly from the retailer. It was modeled after the Sky Mall magazines available in airline seat backs. Well, I was that someone and you know how this story goes. Amazon actually built what I had envisioned and that idea went into the trash bin of my memory.
Until now, that is. This content creator business has been quite the eye-opener and I have realized that it can support a curated online marketplace: The Donnarama Dishes Store (aka The Store). It is still a work in progress, but when it occurred to me that there was no easy way for readers to access the (often random) products I recommend in my blogs, the online marketplace idea was reborn as part of this Donnarama Dishes venture. And, as I have always been an organizer, you can sort your searches by category:
I am super excited to offer a King Arthur Flour section in The Store, and please know that I will be populating it with many of my favorite baking tools and products. If you have any favorite products of theirs you think I should try or promote, please feel free to let me know!
Also, just to be transparent, I will be making a small commission on most purchases made using the links in The Store. The prices of the products, however, are the same they are on the retailer's website -- there is no mark-up at all.
So, please, check out The Store at DonnaramaDishes.com and let me know if there are early glitches or things which you'd like to see. And, feel free to share this exciting news (and link) with anyone you think may be interested.
Happy shopping!
