I love nuts, and I typically have a pretty good assortment on-hand for both snacking and cooking. While a salad I've been working on just isn't there yet (and may never get there, if I'm honest), the candied pecans for that salad are pretty delectable (if I do say so myself). If you like cinnamon and nuts (and have a sweet tooth), this is for you. It's not spicy, but the cinnamon definitely brings a little heat. Mmmm!
This recipe is easy, quick (less than 10 minutes), requires only 3 ingredients (including the nuts!) and has no chopping at all. Plus, it would work well with many nut varieties (like pecans (see above), peanuts and almonds).
I put these out with appetizers, we snack on them, I give them as a hostess gifts, and I also throw them in salads (where they pair really well with tart green apples in my opinion).
Give them a try and let me know how you use them!
